Career

Academic background

I have studied a degree in Geography and a master degree in GIS (Geographic Information System). After that, I started my PhD studies in the University of Extremadura (Spain), in 2010, focusing on soil moisture dynamics and its relationships with climate and vegetation in semiarid regions of Spain. In order to complete my PhD studies I also did two different research stays, one in the Geoscience Department of the University of Montana (USA) in 2012, and another one in the Institute of Earth and Environmental Science of the University of Potsdam (Germany) in 2013. Additionally, during the PhD studies were established close collaborations with renowned institutions, such as the University of Salamanca (Spain). The PhD studies were concluded in 2015.

Moreover, I have done a master degree in training teacher, in order to improve and complete my training as teacher.
